Hey guys! So, I just moved from London to Berlin and let me tell you – it is a wonderful city but it is friggin’ COLD. Like, bitingly cold. And grey and wet.
I wrote a post in honour of David Robert Jones – aka the inimitable David Bowie – the day after he left us. The visionary artist died a year ago on the 10 January 2016, just two days after his 69th birthday.
January is known for many drab things: the unforgiving weather, collective detox (aka dry January), the post-holiday-bloat and the dire bank account statements, to name a few.
When it comes to skincare, masks were HUGE in 2016 – particularly, the Korean sheets variety. You know, the ones that make you look like Hannibal Lecter? I guess we have social media to thank for the explosion of this trend, as the sheer entertainment factor of wearing one is better than any Instagram filter! Dewy skin and Insta-hilarious post? Now that’s a winning combo.
Family, change, loss, utopia, capitalism, communism and free will. These are some of the key themes packaged up in two hours of glorious cinematic storytelling.
Autumn, that moody beast, has snuck up on me and hit me like a slap in the face. Hard.
Before I know it, it’s chilly, wet and dark – although it was very sunny just a few hours ago.
My day job is in digital marketing and I also happen to run a blog. So, the irony is not lost on me when I say that the Internet kinda ruined it and I often aspire to a simpler way of life.
Never one to shy away from a food market and/or a freebie, I happily obliged when my fellow foodie friend Annie offered me a free ticket to the Taste of London food festival, out of the blue.
I’ve already rambled on about the fashion looks at Cannes 2016 which I loved, now it’s time for the red carpet beauty. I’ve highlighted the most inspiring make-up (and hair) looks that got my heart racing below.
In honour of drop-dead-gorgeous Adriana Lima’s 35th birthday which took place a few days ago (June 12th), I thought I’d share some pictures of the Brazilian beauty AKA favourite Victoria’s Secret Angel (closely followed by Shanina Shaik FYI). She also happens to be my ultimate girl crush.#WomanCrushWednesday is a good excuse as any, right? I mean, just look at THAT FACE.
